PAS will be hosting a "star" party on the morning of Monday, November 11, to view the transit of Mercury across our nearest star.  This will be the last Mercury transit visible from CA for the next 30 years.

The sun rises at 6:44am with Mercury already in transit, and the transit will end shortly after 10:00am.  The Observatory will be open for the entire viewable transit, so please stop by for a quick look anytime during this window.  We may also have an extra solar telescope or 2 setup outside the Observatory as well.

Gary Baker, PAS
